So a lot of you have been in touch with me on Instagram (ayeartochangemylifex) and it’s honestly so overwhelming. The fact that I am inspiring others is incredible. I struggled for years to motivate myself and find a way of eating that suited me and in January this year I finally found it.
I wanna share as much as I can with everyone else…I know how hard it is to get out of a rut and change your life but I promise, once you do, it changes forever!
Some quick info
I follow a LCHF meal plan. This means I stick to around 50-70g carbs per day. I have more carbs when i’m working out or I know i’m gonna be really active that day. Personally, I don’t eat bread, pasta, rice, etc. any more. I could eat this on my higher carb days in moderation but tbh I don’t really enjoy it anymore!
What I eat a lot of: sausages, bacon, eggs (scrambled, omelettes, egg cups, 1min mug muffins), chicken breasts, mince (burgers, meatballs), salted peanuts, granola with greek yoghurt, babybels (handy snacks), salads (halloumi, chicken etc.), soup!
I also find new recipes to make daily for when i’m feeling adventurous such as waffle recipes, soup recipes, bake recipes etc.
What I don’t eat: sugary drinks, low fat yogurts and other things (they are often full of sugar), sweets, cakes, breads, pasta, potatoes, chips. Sorry guys – if you’ve ever done slimming world then be prepared to forget everything and start from scratch!
I’ve posted a rough 3 day meal plan below. This is the kind of stuff I would usually eat. Obvously there are hundreds of recipes out there, but this is just a snapshot! Please have a go, and let me know how you get on!?
